Sabre has created SynXis Retail Studio to help hoteliers sell
the wide variety of products and services their properties offer, independent
of room type.
The product is launching early this year. At The Phocuswright
Conference in November, Sabre Hospitality president Scott Wilson presented the
solution during the Launch innovation event.
Wilson explains how the SynXis Retail Studio enables
hoteliers to consider anything on property and turn it into a selling unit, and
how machine learning can ensure the options are curated to be the most
relevant.
After the conference, Wilson spoke to PhocusWire editor in
chief Mitra Sorrells to share more details about the value of the solution and
why he is seeing increased interest from hoteliers in using this sort of
holistic retailing strategy.
Wilson also discusses other ways technology is helping
hoteliers address on-property challenges and why it is critical to integrate
