Staff communication platform Beekeeper has added a further $45 million in funding, in a bid to build out its "Slack for non-desk employees" tool.
The Switzerland-based company works with a string of hotels around the world, as well as providing tools for companies in the manufacturing and retail industries.
Leading the Series B round is Thayer Ventures and Swisscanto Invest.
Previous backers returning for the round include Atomico, Alpana Ventures, Edenred Capital Partners, Fyrfly, Hammer Team, Investiere, HighSage Ventures and others.

The new round comes just 12 months after a Series A extension round of $13 million in 2018 after its $8 million Series A some 18 months before that.
The Beekeeper platform works by connecting employees without desk facilities through an app, giving managers the opportunity to oversee operations and communications.
When deployed, 90% of a team are actively instaling and using the app, Beekeeper claims.
Travel brands on the customer portfolio include Hilton, Hyatt, Heathrow Airport, Marriott, InterContinental Hotels and Mandarin Oriental.
The latest round will be used to build out the app with more tools and integrate further with other platforms.
Co-founder and CEO, Cristian Grossmann, says: "Given the pace of workplace digitization and the unique demands of frontline workers, businesses have struggled to find a mobile-first platform built specifically to meet the complexities of a non-desk workforce.
"Consumer apps are not the answer, and knowledge-worker apps such as those offered by Slack and Microsoft don’t cover the needs of frontline workers."
