Delta Air Lines in the coming weeks will begin a facial-recognition program for TSA PreCheck members at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The program enables travelers to get through security and other checkpoints via a camera and facial-recognition technology in lieu of physical identification and boarding passes.
It will be available at Atlanta's South Security Checkpoint in the next few weeks, according to Delta.
The technology will expand to some bag drop and boarding areas by the end of the year.
Delta last year began building its "curb-to-gate" facial-recognition programs in Detroit, and the carrier plans to expand to more of its hubs next year.
