Mastercard has released a voice skill enabling card holders to access experiences via smart speakers at home or while traveling.
The voice skill, launched by users saying "open Priceless Experiences," will be available this summer in U.S. cities including New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Boston and Chicago.
Users will have to go to Mastercard’s Priceless website for booking the experiences but the company says “payment integration is on the roadmap.”

In a statement, Raja Rajamannar, Mastercard’s chief marketing and communications officer says: “Voice is the next frontier of search and retail. Sound—and in this case the Priceless Experiences skill marked by the Mastercard sonic brand—is a powerful way for us to create a culturally-relevant and emotional connection with consumers.”
The company says it hopes to make the skill available more widely in the near future.
Research released by Mastercard last year revealed that two thirds of U.S. consumers had used voice and text agents while in the E.U. one-in-five consumers had shopped using voice or text agents.
