PhocusWire editorial team's favorite interviews of 2021

When we produced this annual article for the end of 2020, we said that we looked forward to better times ahead in 2021.

Well, as we all know, such hopes faded fairly quickly this year when a new variant - the unfortunately named, if you a well-known U.S. airline, "Delta" - emerged and became the dominant form of COVID-19 in the global pandemic.

Some of our events, such as Phocuswright Europe, continued to be held virtually but we returned to in-person gatherings in November with The Phocuswright Conference in the U.S.

Still, as we reach the end of the year, another variant of the virus has emerged that is likely to have another swipe at the recovery efforts of the travel tourism and hospitality sector.

Regardless of the circumstances surrouding the industry for the second holiday period in a row, we are proud at PhocusWire to have continued providing excellent interviews with many of the movers and shakers in the travel and wider digital worlds.

We'll say, once again, we look forward to better times in 2022.
