Mobility company routeRank has been acquired by payments solutions specialist Netcetera for an undisclosed amount.
The companies say they are merging and plan to provide solutions for multimodal mobility.
Switzerland-based Netcetera Group, which offers its digital payment technology to customers across the financial, transport, media and health sectors, says the acquisition of routeRank will boost its transport offering.
“There is a strong complementarity between the technical backgrounds of the two companies as well as a strong compatibility in terms of company culture,” says Jochen Mundinger, who stays on as chairman and CEO of routeRank.
“We’ll benefit from Netcetera’s existing structure, resources and channels. This will also allow us to better support our customer base.”
