TripActions has acquired Sweden-based travel management company Resia for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition is TripActions' third in the past nine months following its acquisition of of U.K.-based Reed & Mackay in May of last year and Germany-based Comtravo just last month.
Resia was founded in Sweden's Gothenburg in 1974 and will help TripActions grow in the Nordic region.
The TMC also has a meetings and events service with a quarter of its sales volumes derived from the unit.
Michael Riegel, general manager of TripActions EMEA and former CEO of Comtravo, said the acquisition increased market share in Scandinavia while "Resia's strong management team and deep market expertise will help spearhead TripActions' further growth in the Nordic."
