Trivago will be offering users the chance to purchase tours and activities via a new service formed through a deal with Musement.
TUI-owned Musement will power the channel for Trivago, giving it 55,000 excursions, activities and tickets to attractions in 140 countries around the world.
Initially, Trivago Activities will be available in a number of key markets for the hotel metasearch site, including the U.K., U.S., France, Germany, Spain, Russia and the Netherlands.
It's the first time that Trivago has sold tours and activities on its website.
Trivago says most of the activities will feature an immediate email confirmation of the booking and have a 24-hour cancelation period for customers.
CEO Axel Hefer says: "As we emerge from the pandemic, we see a great desire to travel and experience life again.
"Along with our core offering, we will now offer customers a wealth of opportunities to get out and adventure again, no matter their interests or locations."
TUI acquired Musement for an undisclosed fee in September 2018.
Other online travel brands have been boosting their tours and activities content with Booking.com announcing inventory from Tripadvisor-owned Viator in recent weeks following a deal with Musement last year.
Meanwhile, reservation technology specialist BookingKit is ensuring activities suppliers can market themselves via Booking.com by extending its partnership with Musement.
