Over 125,000 transfer options will be added to the TUI portfolio of websites following an agreement with ground transportation provider Mozio.
The tour operating giant's digital strategy is to provide a central hub for customers across its different brands and core site with private cars, buses, trains, helicopters and other services in 125 countries.
In particular, the move speaks to a demand from customers, as travel begins to recover, for private products away from existing group transfers traditionally provided by TUI.
Pre-pandemic, TUI sold around 31 million transfers as part of the customer's packages and build-your-own trips.
The company says the agreement is the first step in a wider strategic decision to consolidate its entire transfer business under a single service, powered by Mozio.
"In the future, the Mozio inventory will be available on all TUI websites, enabling TUI customers from all source markets to upgrade or add transfer options," TUI says.
David Schelp, CEO of TUI Musement, TUI's tours and activities division, adds: "Our digital platform offers a comprehensive selection of the best travel experiences and service. As part of this, we connect our partners and customers with the leading transportation businesses worldwide."
