TUI Hotels & Resorts is looking to improve the online guest journey through a partnership with guest management technology specialist Canary Technologies.
Canary will provide TUI properties, which number more than 400 across 40 countries, with solutions to enhance the guest experience such as mobile check-in and smart checkout.
The artificial intelligence-powered platform will also help properties find new revenue streams through upselling.

TUI has been revamping its technology as part of a five-year program that includes the development of a global booking platform as well as a single customer database to aid more upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Canary recently raised $50 million, bringing its total raised to approximately $100 million. SJ Sawhney, president and co-founder of the company said at the time, “We are thrilled to utilize the funding to continue building a world-class team focused on innovation while expediting our ambitious roadmap.”
