Hilton is launching two new digital programs that
are intended to help small- and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) book stays and
events in Hilton properties.
Hilton said SMEs account for about 85% of its
business transient guests, and these new products are part of the brand’s
commitment to “digitally transform the business travel experience.”
Hilton for Business is expected to launch globally
in early 2024 with a new booking website targeted to SMEs. Along with discounts
for rooms, loyalty benefits and simplified setup, companies that sign
up for “Hilton for Business” will give access to a program management system to
track past and future bookings and benefits.

“Even as the global pandemic significantly
impacted global travel, small- and medium-sized business travelers never slowed
down,” said Chris Silcock, executive vice president and chief commercial
officer at Hilton.
“We used that opportunity to listen and learn
how we could solve long-running pain points and deliver what these businesses
need most — simple booking and travel management tools and recognition and
rewards for their loyalty.”
The second update is intended for SMEs that
want to book in-person meetings and events. These companies can now book event
spaces for up to 35 attendees and up to 25 guest rooms at Hilton properties directly
online, without the need for a separate contract or phone call.
“This enhancement is especially
valuable to small and medium-sized businesses who need to plan small in-person
meetings and events quickly without staff or third-party support,” the company
said in its announcement.
