The COVID-19 pandemic has forced hotels to rethink the entire playbook as it relates to guest interaction, safety and hygiene protocols, staff wellbeing and so much more.

Speaking during PhocusWire’s inaugural Pulse “Safer and Seamless” event in February, Katherine Grass, CEO of Optii Solutions and venture partner at Thayer Ventures, explained what the playbook for recovery in hospitality looks like in 2021.

Flexibility, Grass said, “is absolutely the name of the game in 2021,” and travel brands need to adapt to changes to help them not only do more with less, but also do better with less.
