Road.Travel is a digital platform of curated routes, connecting travelers to tourism destinations. We are now introducing video routes, “electric” routes for EVs, and for the first time in the industry – in-car storytelling, powered by voice AI and a global network of creators.
Our technology enables thematic, interactive routes for road trips, staycations, weekend getaways, city tours, sightseeing detours, test drives and anything in between – via the marketplace of routes and places, with booking capabilities and budget optimizer, creative tools and incentives for contributors and distribution across web, mobile and car infotainment via widgets, white-label solutions and APIs.
The platform is powering interactive, branded in-destination content for DMOs, automotive, travel and lifestyle clients, publishers and media partners; supporting community-driven content (UGC) and providing premium content creation and integration services.

Strategic goals for 2022
The industry’s first in-car implementation of curated routes with location-triggered voice guidance – making multi-stop routes with storytelling a new standard feature of car navigation – will be presented by a premium German carmaker in 2022, powered by Road.Travel.
This will open an all-new chapter in the evolution of car travels, a communication channel for marketers and a new user experience for car travelers.
We will launch our B2C operations in early 2022 in key markets, including France, Germany, the U.K. and the U.S. Our strategic goal is to become the number one brand of curated routes – “the Netflix of self-guided trips.”
Our mission is to make car trips as simple as holiday packages – for electric cars in particular.
Lessons learned over the last year
During the pandemic our focus has shifted from multi-day routes for “fly & drive” vacation trips to shorter routes locally, as the global trend for domestic tourism unveiled the lack of tech solutions for self-guided car trips and where we identified a promising market need.
We have also discovered a strategic opportunity of working with DMOs and tourism officials on content co-creation and digital projects. Saudi Arabia has become the first country to have adopted our technology at the national level under the Visit Saudi brand.
The recognition from UNWTO, listing Road.Travel among Top 100 Innovators globally, became a validation of our approach to curated routes as addressing tourism dispersal, one of the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals, contributing to the creation of a global ecosystem for self-guided trips and supporting the fundamental shift to greener mobility with “electric” routes. We are betting on “electric” routes as one of key priorities of our content strategy.
