StatusMatch is a service that enables major
airline and hotel brands to acquire new high-value customers through a
structured, co-branded platform.
The co-branded platform operated by StatusMatch.com
allows travel brands to outsource customer acquisition to a third party that handles all of the customer processing, validation and fraud checks. Airlines
traditionally process these requests within four to six weeks, and the StatusMatch
platform handles them within minutes, thus leading to a fantastic customer
onboarding experience, which results in more revenue faster for brands that we
work with.
Strategic goals for 2023
There are a few
core strategic goals we’ll hit over the coming year. First, we will continue to
build and grow our technology and marketing assets. Doing so will
strengthen StatusMatch’s ability to target new high-value travelers for our
airline and hotel brand partners.
Second, we
will onboard more major airlines, hotel and cruise liner loyalty program brands
into our ecosystem to increase our travel industry brand portfolio. The
demand by large brands to use our platform is increasing in 2022/2023 as
airlines and hotels begin to downgrade elite members who have had their elite
status extended for free during the pandemic. This represents a prime
opportunity for brands to acquire high-value customers from competing travel
brands.
Lessons learned since founding
We’ve
learned that many airlines and hotel brands move slowly, but adapting to their
slower pace from a business development perspective is not necessarily the
right approach for a startup. Great people in the airlines and hotels see
and understand opportunities and move quickly to capitalize on them. Finding
these forward-looking thinkers within large organizations has become key to
fast-tracking big-name airline clients.
