TripFusion by Vacayou - Launch People's Choice winner at The Phocuswright Conference 2023

Founded in 2019, Vacayou is a travel marketplace focused on wellness resorts and experiences around the globe.

The company is now launching a B2B solution to enable hotels to offer spa reservations and other wellness experiences as part of the room booking flow and in a single, unified cart.

Vacayou’s president and chief operating officer, John Matson, presented the new solution during the Launch competition at The Phocuswright Conference 2023, where it won the People’s Choice award.

Matson said more than 50% of potential spa reservations go unbooked each year because of inefficiencies in the current system, such as requiring emails or phone calls between the guest and the spa and also lack of availability for the guest's dates of stay.

TripFusion creates a widget in the booking flow so the opportunity is surfaced to guests at the time of booking, and the system links the spa point-of-sale system with the hotel property management system to show accurate availability.
