Founding date: 2020
Investment: £150,000
Jyrney’s vision is
to integrate and better connect mobility with business travel.
We enable travel
management companies to launch and scale new mobility services. By
consolidating the ground transport market, Jyrney offers its clients a one-stop
solution and single API for all their first and last mile needs.
Going beyond
distribution, Jyrney utilizes historic trip data to predict and facilitate on
time performance of the car, solving the biggest challenge in ground transport
by removing the friction in passenger pick ups.
Strategic goals for 2023
Today less than 3% of all travel management companies
transactions are ground transport, which is crazy as each flight generates two
ground trips. So where do all these trips go?
Jyrney’s mission is
to bring ground transport into policy and move it further up the agenda for
TMCs, travel technology providers and travel buyers.
In 2023 we will continue to develop
our world-class supply chain with both trusted local operators and leading
global network providers. We will work with leading travel technology companies
to ensure ground transport is integrated within their booking journeys and available
alongside air, rail and hotel segments.
Once we do this, we will continue
to surprise our new and existing clients with the difference an integrated and
performance managed ground transport solution makes to their travelers’
experience.
Lessons learned since founding
Nothing, not even a global pandemic, can stop either
business travel or innovation!
The pandemic has changed perception of business travel, with
a higher value placed on the high touch services offered by travel management
companies.
With more people working from home, first and last mile travel
plays an even more important role in travel programs. With air, rail,
hotel and car hire largely optimized over the last few decades, ground
transport might just be the last frontier!
