Strategic goals for 2023
We are at a crucial moment in time when the travel industry just
went through one of the biggest disrupting events, COVID-19 and started to
change the way people travel. Gen Z is demanding a new way of travel, one that
is rooted in experiences not just a place to stay.
Mount is here to capitalize
on this and plans to use 2023 to expand our brand presence, increase
capabilities to our products including dynamic amenity pricing and pre-booking
features, as well as expand our team focusing on customer success, sales and
marketing hires.
Mount's team is all about that nomadic life - the one
where you can throw everything on the back of a Vespa and go. So we’re building
a platform for exactly the kinds of ultra-empowering travel experiences we want
to make possible in the world, for the world, all around the world.
Lessons learned since founding
We've
learned to never give up. Mount's been through about eight pivots since we started
- we listened to customers and changed our product as needed until we found
product market fit.
Our perseverance led us to a place where we bring value to
property managers/owners in the Airbnb world as well as travelers around the
globe. There was a need from both sides and Mount is the fit.
