Operto Guest Technologies has landed $25 million in a Series B round.
The investment in the Canada-based startup was led by Centana Growth Partners with Thayer Ventures, FUSE, Blackpines Capital Partners and Derive Ventures also participating.
The company has also announced that HotelTonight founder Sam Shank is joining the board of directors. HotelTonight was acquired by Airbnb in 2019 with Shank joining the accommodation platform until his departure late last year.
Operto, which specializes in automation tools for hotels and rentals, says the funding will go toward further expansion.
