France-based Travelaer launched in 2013 with a focus to on “improving the customer experience across all phases of travel."
PROS now has a string of services available to airlines, including retail-based systems.
These include revenue management, sales optimization and dynamic pricing tools, distribution services and a merchandizing platform.
Customers include Southwest, Lufthansa, Virgin Atlantic, Jetstar, Swiss Airlines, Qantas and Air China.

PhocusWire spoke to Surain Adyanthaya and Mike Sloan (the CEO of Travelaer until the acquisition), both travel principals at PROS, about its position on retailing and where the market can shift to next.
